Who we are

BidYourGame ("we", "us") operates a public discovery board where game developers can list their games. You can reach us at support@bidyourgame.com.

What we collect

  • Listing data you submit: game URL, and if you choose, custom artwork and a support email for receipts.
  • Public data from store platforms: when you paste a Steam, App Store or Google Play link, we fetch the publicly available title, description, icon and screenshots from that platform.
  • Usage data: page views, clicks on listings, and aggregate visitor counts. Clicks on a listing are counted and shown publicly on the board.
  • Payment data: handled entirely by our payment provider. We never see or store your card details; we receive only your name/email as provided by the provider and a payment reference.
  • What we DON'T collect

  • No account registration - you can browse the entire site without signing up.
  • No advertising trackers or data brokers.
  • No special-category data.
  • Why we use it

  • To display and operate the public leaderboard.
  • To count and attribute traffic sent to listed games (via UTM-tagged redirects).
  • To process payments and prevent fraud, through our merchant-of-record provider.
  • To keep aggregated statistics (total raised, visitors) shown on our stats page.
  • Cookies

We keep cookies to a minimum: one session flag so visitor counts are not double-counted, and analytics provided by our hosting platform. No third-party ad cookies are used.

    Data sharing

  • Payments are processed by our merchant-of-record provider, which receives your checkout details under its own privacy policy.
  • Listings you publish are public by design - that is the product.
  • We do not sell personal data. Ever.
  • Retention

Listings remain until removed by their owner or us (e.g. if the underlying store page disappears). Aggregated statistics may be retained indefinitely. You can request removal of a listing or your data at any time via the support email.

    Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct or delete your personal data, and to object to processing. Email us and we will respond within 30 days.
